I bought the Scanstrut bracket for my Lowrance HDS7 from Defender in June, and the white adjustment knob has a hairline crack in it. It has not been abused.

I contacted Defender customer service and they sent me the distributor contact along with a PDF of my receipt. One phone call to them on Thursday, and they promised to send a replacement which went out Friday, and I had it today. BTW I had only asked for a knob, but they replaced the entire bracket assembly with a new one in the retail box.

Can't beat that for "meeting or exceeding expectations". BTW Scanstut USA is managed by Ocean Marketing in CT.
