My original one died about 10 years ago when the bucket split. I

was deeply in need and there was a dive shop on the Island that had one that was commercially made so I bought it. It's pretty cool because it's taller, comes apart and nests inside itself and ends up only about 8 inches tall. I took my Magama Barbeque cover and turned it into a storage bag for it's protection. With any luck it will be around another 10 years as well. It's great to check the anchor but we've also spent many hours cruising around with the dinghy just looking over reefs which is tons of fun. They are certainly well worth the effort it takes to make one.
