And frankly I have not seen or found a way to get rid of that stuff other than a full "pull the counter off" galley rebuild... and since everything else around the galley is in good shape, I am not willing to go that route.

I will go the route of free standing Engel refer before I destroy my current galley. So I am looking for other ways to at least augment what I have.

I did notice that Engel now has drop in models... so that might be another answer.
