Garman unit. The smallest lowest cost one that had an anchor alarm on it. I would set it and then put it in the cubby next to my birth. Jill and I could both hear it. Our normall GPS/chart plotter is in the cockpit and we could not hear it from our birth. We normally set it at ALL anchorages. It went belly up shortly after the warranty expired.

I now have a small Android tablet (7 inch) and Jill has an Android phone. I was looking at the Android market and came across the app called "Sailsafe". It's an anchor alarm that seems to work well. It took a little getting used to, but so did the Garmin trying find the alarm on it!

Now we use that on the tablet or phone with it powered from the ships supply.
