When you drop the anchor put a waypoint on the CP.

Then you don't need that cursor.

Funny, that double crescent looks like mine when I move the helm GPS to the aft stateroom. ( I had a second bale and cable and would move the helm GPS to the stateroom within reach whens we slept. The difference in position would put a double crescent on the track. )

I'd generally put the alarm range at 1 100th of a mile (about 53 feet). If it goes off due to swing I make it 2 or possibly 3 100ths. If it continues to go off I can't sleep. The anchor alarm set at only 50 to 150 feet max. was because we were always anchoring in 12 feet or less with 75 feet of chain.

Yeah, I've also seen that Forest Gump feather pattern. Scarry!
