I'm suprised anyone not from 60's or 70's Southern California has even heard of him except from the dance scene in 'Pulp Fiction' and his song Misirlou

73, still touring and doing damage to the audience's ears. Saw him 6 months ago in a local small venue and had ringing in my ears for almost a week. He's still impossibly loud.
