It has a 1000 amp CCA battery beside it, with 00 cable and it's own 400 amp fuse.
From the main battery to the fwd one, we have #6 AWG wire. I calculated tha the most current through the #6 wire would be about 50amps
The fwd battery is isolated from the main one when the engine is not running
System worked well for 5 months living aboard
