But I suspect they had things under control. It's funny how quickly sailors rebound. An email from the crew of SERAFINA just a few days after arriving was looking back on the passage with a bit of fondness. 
They felt pretty good in that they had no mishaps or breakages.
I look forward to getting more info from Iain as he gets situated.
