Water filters.....EVEN in the US!
In Response To: Water filtration article ()

Dan,

We were never very good at catching rain water. Just not much of it in the Sea of Cortez.

But we were kinda worried about taking on dock water from a few of the marinas. So we got a system that is used in many restaurants in Mexico. It was just under US $200.00 and we have used it ever since. As a matter of fact, our water system here in Az. where we are staying had a warning a few months back and we even used it here in the USA!!! Yoy can see it in a short Youtube I posted at; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JXvLxdflK0&feature=share

We looked at the under sink filters, but the big one named after a bird was US $500.00+ WOW!!!! What we went with was not even close to that and still way under the Doulton unit. I also posted a very short Youtube about it at ; http://youtu.be/4JO36LSGdN8

And as you said, we never suffered ANY problems.

Nice article you pointed to. No matter what system people decide on, we think it's a very good idea to take a filter system!!
