Points East is a small New England based sailing magazine. Never a glossy, it contains a few articles which are usually quite good. This online format is a huge win for Points East. They're a free magazine supported solely by advertising. When they can get their word out to someone without printing, they've raised their bottom line. You get the whole magazine in their online version. It's especially nice to read it on a tablet.
This issue is worth it just to read David Buckman, sailing in,...- "wind in the 30's, waves in the 20's", beating his way(with his wife) to the Mud Hole, in their 26' Folkboat. I can find more 'sailing' in one of his two page articles than I used to find in a whole 'glossy' sailing mag.
