Wind may be the difference. Had the red sky yesterday morning, followed by an ugly band of cloud:

That went away and we had a sunny, chilly, New Year's Day.

Now the real thing is starting and Hickory Wind looks ready under the wrap:

Driving to Portland? Could have come by here yesterday and hit Portland on the way home! Had sailors from 12' to 40', cruising from Sunset Cove to Labrador.
