Many were 4Wdrives, which sadly didn't have 4Wstop as they careened right off the exit ramp curves.
One Jeep on its top just outside Portland. Probably gridlock in Portland by now. That's southern Maine though.
We're home unscathed. Sea smoke was rolling over the bridge in Wiscasset. All quite beautiful from inside a warm car, but your fingers would freeze in seconds just scrapping your windshield.
But that's nothing compared to being on Cape Cod Bay or the Gulf of Maine right now. Not much wind yet, but it's piping up as I type.
