In the last few months one or more people have been grabbing photos of boats and posting them on the Cleveland/Erie/Buffalo craigslists without the owner's permission. Last week one of the postings was for an Island Packet that was for sale in FL but showing as a Cleveland boat. I notified that owner through the IP owner's website and it was taken down. If you pay attention, the photos are usualy grainy and there is always a reference to another website in the ad, although those websites are not where the boats are actually for sale either. Sometimes they will show the registration numbers so you know that they are not local boats. I went to a few of the websites to see what they were all about, not quite sure. Postings are almost always in all caps, always show as being by a dealer and always that reference to another site.
