If the time commitment had been somewhat less than a full two months (or whatever it was) I was interested, too, and my wife actually encouraged me to do so. We're getting ready for our own trip so I felt it was too much time away from our own preps.

Fiona has seen so much wear and tear over the years, perhaps that contributed to some of the breakdowns. It was a sobering read, I'm not entirely sure my Nordic 40 would get through conditions like those without encountering breakdowns.
