ST 6000, 6001 or 6002 Control Head Unit will work perfectly fine with an older AutoHelm ST6000 Type 100 AutoPilot System ? My system is working perfectly fine, I have an at least 15 year old AutoHelm Type 100 Course Computer, Type 1 Lineal Mechanical Drive, Fluxgate, Rudder transducer. My AutoHelm ST6000 Control Head is badly crazed and the Display does not light up, other than that Functions work fine. I have not so old Raymarine Plotters and W/D/S instruments, all daisy chained via SeaTalk, along with my Radar and my VHF.

Have seen what look to be very good condition RAYMARINE ST6000, 6001 and 6002 Controls on eBay and curious if they will work ? The best I could get out of the techs at Raymarine was … "maybe, maybe not".
