Made up a pair of bridles out of 3-strand last weekend and plan to splice some Amsteel rigging tomorrow. Maybe will post some pics.

Did you know New England Ropes 5/8 3-strand nylon measures 0.575” whereas 5/8” equates to 0.625”? What's with that? I think that's a new standard of measurement. Have they changed the rated strength with that, or are they compressing the fibers tighter?
