I met a couple on a cat who were on Hinckley's dock for a month, while work was going on. I thought their policy was if there is work ongoing, dockage is free ? That was the case for me. I needed a crane, but the Hinckley Yard guys arranged me with two others that needed the crane as well (one being that cat) on the same day, so I was able to split the cost and not pay the minimum. I spent two days there, very safe, very nice. I think you will find Barry Hague, the Yard Manager more than pleasant and helpful. I had the same experience you did with the VHF, but mine was a Friday, they didn't hail me back. So I called them on the cell phone, and texted Barry … isn't that what everyone does these days ? Bombing around the Pocket, checking out places and eating out looked like fun. Nice neighborhood for walking with a few nice parks nearby. There used to be a West Marine within walking distance, although a long walk, but they have recently moved further up US 1. There is a Lewis Supply within walking distance, but a long walk. An excellent Taco stand for lunch just before Lewis. Cheers, John
