out of stock

seems like it must be a popular item. I would like to think that I'm like most people here, or most are like me? I get some things from Defender, some from Hamilton, some from Wholesale Marine and on rare occasions, even West Marine and eBay. I assume that it is how the places are set up, but there seems to be a piece for each as far as items and related pricing.......except for West Marine which always seems to have the highest prices on everything. So anyhow, I ordered the new water heater from one place, based on the price/tax/shipping combo cost, sold out. Ordered from #2, also sold out. The stories were the same, everyone is getting ready for the season and they can go quickly this time of year. Yes, I could find the unit right now by adding $100 bills, however I have a few other things I need to do so I'm waiting for the next shipment from Wholesale Marine. In the mean time, it's snowing again and the temp is supposed to be down in the mid-teens tonight (sigh). I curious to see how many people signed up for the first day of lift in this Saturday, I'm thinking not too many.

PS. I did learn about trying to buy something on the cheap from a place with not a lot of technical expertise. They wanted to sell me a 50hz water heater for the same price as a 60hz unit. "it should work fine"....no.
