That's a winter bird for us, mostly. But the first Scissortailed Flycatchers have arrived up from Mexico
In Response To: Heard then saw my first red-winged blackbird of the season ()

and I have about 6 hummingbirds around the blooms on the Chinaberry trees. Constantly amazes me that those tiny little birds can migrate from the Yucatan, across the Gulf.

THAT is a sign spring is really almost here.
