I can't say on the Coppercoat bottom as we just put it on last year. We are still testing it.

I can say that the CopperPoxy we put on before we departed for full time cruising lasted about eleven (11) years. That was in the San Francisco bay area to and through the Sea of Cortez. Many different types of fowling waters.

That is why we decided to go with the Coppercoat. As I wrote up on our web site, I tried mixing my own copper and epoxy (http://www.svguenevere.com/2010/haul/) and that was a BIG BUST!

When we haul in June or July, I will do a write up. BUT, keep in mind, we are cruising and moving, so our observations will most likely be different from some one who just keeps the boat in a slip most of the time????
