My boat has bugs... they appear to be tiny beetles or micro fleas... I have only seen them around the teak on deck... and in places where there are small gaps between the teak and the deck, such as where handholds fasten to the deck. They seem to be most prevalent where a line has held moisture and has taken on a green tinge and is close to these teak/deck gaps. (my reefing lines for instance, which are rarely used)

I have recently been working on scraping and sanding these teak areas and taping the deck areas for varnishing the teak, and these tiny bugs have appeared to come out of areas where there these tiny gaps exist.

So what are they? How do I get rid of them... and will you still raft up with me?
