… as I am hoping to get a new bottom this year, on my '86 Tartan 40 … 30 years of bottom paint. My bottom is looking pretty good considering, but it's time.

How much of the work did you do yourself ? Did you do the blasting or a pro ? Your bottom pretty similar to mine. I'm hoping to do the same this summer. Have a pro do the blasting, have not yet decided on the medium, but will leave that to the pro. Maybe I do the sanding & fairing, maybe them, depending on time. I think I can handle the Barrier Coats and the bottom painting. Any idea of time & costs ? I'm thinking I'd like to do this somewhere around Buzzards Bay or perhaps southern Maine. I understand Onset Bay Marina may be a good choice.
