I have started demanding that anyone making anything for Brendon use Gortex thread. They hate it because the thread always wares out before the cloth so they loose money because the covers last twice as long. My "Stack Pack fell apart and I had it redone with gortex thread and replaces the zipper. I bet it will be good for another 5 or 6 years. I think that salesman BS about the Sunbrella and UV. I need a new sail but it's from age and wind over 15 years, not UV.
