My Avon (made in England before the French took it over)

Had rubberized oar "holes" with a place to put the oars in. They have wooden oars, not something a child would use on a inner tube in a swimming pool.

They aren't some immitation of an old fashioned row boat. In a row boat, they were attached to wood, aluminum, or fiberglass -- not some flexing intertube inflated by a foot on a hot deck.
