I have a Boat/US policy which is underwritten by Continental. It has diminishing deductibles if you have no claim. I think it went slight up but it is hard for me to figure because I had a claim last year and this years policy premium reflects both a recalculation of the deductible and the new rate. At a meeting at a group I belong to a Tow Boat US contractor gave a nice presentation and mentioned Boat/US was recently purchased by the Buffet group--including its insurance. Anyway, the cost I think is secondary to the service. Boat US has always been extremely helpful to me whenever I had a claim and resolved things in my favor without exception ( two claims over 20 years)
