In heavy weather it didn't work well for us
In Response To: Any of you folks use MARPA radar? ()
With all the moving of the boat in heavy weather MARPA had a difficult time holding on to multiple targets sometimes losing them. That was on our first generation Raymarine C-Series (2003) with an older Raymarine (1997) course computer. When we updated the course computer in 2011, MARPA was better but still had problems holding targets in heavy weather.
