Know anyone considering buying a new boat these days?

If so, send them here. If you're looking for a higher end production boat, there aren't that many choices today with a few of the better builders only building power boats.

This is a Lawley Tender that came out the sheds this year. Very old traditional wooden boat. But you could as easily have Rockport Marine build nearly any design for a small day sailer from bottomless archives of over a century of designs from around the world, or have them create your own design. You can choose from several building options from this time honored plank on frame, to state of the art composite wood/glass construction.

And there isn't much limit on size. This 50' Fontaine design came out of the sheds yesterday. I can hardly wait to see it in the water monday, when it launches. It's a custom build, yes. Yet construction began 11 months ago. That's not bad lead time to get your new production 50'er. And price, well, I don't know that. But I would suspect if systems are the same, this custom route would be very competitive with a similar mid to high end production boat. And look at what you can get!

Disclosure; I will get a discount on haul and launch for every 50'er I sell.
