Weak burner in Force 10 stove oven

We have a 3 burner with oven Force 10 propane stove . It was purchased about 2002. It is the model with thermometer in the oven, no automatic temperature control.

The oven has been used quite a lot (we live on board about 5 months/year) , and was fine until last summer, when we noticed it would not reach over 350 deg F This year after the winter layup, max was about 275 degrees. I cleaned the brass nozzle with the largest wire I have that would enter the tiny hole ( a strand of electrical cable) and the oven will now reach about 340 deg.

I see that the brass burner nozzle has a hexagonal head. Can I simply remove it with a socket wrench and clean the nozzle?

Any other solutions?
