I emailed them same time as I posted here (being generally pessimistic about manufacturers supporting 12 year old gear)
Actually Joceline Giroux of Force 10 replied within 10 minutes with a clear explanation on what to do.
I just took the nozzle out and cleaned it with carburettor cleaner. Flame is rather larger now, and next time we bake we will see how she goes .
