...but I didn't notice any evidence of it when I arrived there the day after the storm... The pic below was taken on Saturday the 5th, I had ridden Arthur out in Lake Tashmoo on the Vineyard, and had a fantastic sail out to Nantucket the next day behind the storm... I think virtually all of the boats blown ashore were smaller boats that belonged to the YC, etc. Frankly, I was amazed how many boats had apparently chosen to ride it out there, the mooring field still looked practically filled... As usual, with the exception of SNOW GOOSE and a couple of other large megayachts in the outer harbor, I was the ONLY small boat at anchor... (grin)
You're thinking of another NOMAD, these folks were in Shelburne with me until the Sunday after Labor Day... Very impressive cruisers, their blog is in German, but worth a look for the photos alone... Wolf and Doris are the real deal, for certain...
