… such a bummer. We left Newport on July 5 also, shortly after lunch, with a brisk NW breeze and rode our Asym sail all the way to Edgartown, arriving in time for the fireworks show. What a sail that day, just as you said, perfect, incredible. In the morning it was still really blowing, so we had lunch then took off … literally. Had I known you were just in front of us, we would have left earlier to make Nantucket and caught up with you. I was with my friend John … we chatted with you about this trip back in the late spring, thanks again for that.

Oh darn, another day we will see you on the water some place fun.
