Hi All...

I am the recent and proud owner of another Javelin 38 on the west coast, The Raven. We got her still afloat, but have been laboring away to keep her that way. We have swapped the Albin AD-2 Diesel for a Vovlo MD 11C and stepped a new-to-us aluminum mast. The new mast is about 5 feet taller than the original wooden spar and we are wondering about the proper boom and sail.

Somewhere I read that Majek also had a taller mast -- were any other modifications made? ie... shorter boom to accomodate a taller sail.
