I was in Leadville last weekend at the high school mountain bike races. It's been a lot of fun helping "coach" my local team. They did very well at the race placing 2nd in the team points with several podium placements in the various divisions. The cool thing about this sport is that the scrawny kids who would have no chance in the traditional high school sports are kicking some serious butt. It's great to see the "geeks" develop some self confidence in the athletic arena.
