We would like to have an assym, on a furler.
Some sail makers say they can make one, but many say it will be a disaster because the large head will not furl on a "code-zero" type furler.

Top-down furlers appeared a couple of years ago. At Annapolis show yesterday, everyone seems to be promoting them now.

Any comments from those with experience?

We have a 47 foot boat with a 66 foot stick, so an assym spi would be about 1500 sq ft.
