() and got asked to crew on a Penguin sailboat in a race. 1957. Didn't much do any sailing for years, til I got out of Navy.. Then found a book. Princess, New York, by Joe Richards. Been a confirmed "cruiser" at least in my head, ever since.
The book is still on my shelf, has been aboard all of my boats and is one I NEVER loan out.
