Of course we both have tiny boats that need to be quite conservative in their operation.

I was just going through my refrigeration situation these last few months and have somewhat come to the conclusion that a large built in unit is something of a waste of resources... I am thinking of ways to use a drop in Engal or other system, and set it up in ways that make it easy to service...

Perhaps in using a hinged counter top or something along those lines I could readily remove and replace my system as I desire. I mean as long as I have to tear out the old system... may as well plan on a service solution for later.

Between LED lighting and a low amp cooler... heck maybe I can run on a few dozen D cells, eh?
