An unusual bridge.
In Response To: Wednesday Is Photo Day ()

I do believe "unique" actually applies. The Steel Bridge crosses the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon. It is a double-lift span in that the lower railway deck retracts up into the upper auto/commuter rail deck. The upper deck can then also be raised. Clearance is 26 ft with the lower deck up and 163 ft with the upper. Built in 1912.
