off the town square close in and take the dinghy over to the Los Gatos beach. We would pick up a swell with the surfers and ride in in through the cut in the ancient breakwater and turn left and anchor the dink off one of the beach Palapas that had the best deal on Margaritas. We would spend most of the day in a couple of beach chairs eating, drinking beer and playing "Mexican Train"(a dominoes game) with the occasional Margarita tossed in for a change of pace. We spent an inordinate amount of time in the water skin diving on the old Aztec breakwater which some king built for his daughter. It was a pretty magical time. They call that area the "Mexican Vortex". You sail in but you can't sail out.
