We've been living on Broad Cove for almost 18 years and not seen it freeze to Chebeague more than one other time. It was frozen across a few days ago....

This is Sturdivant Island with Basket Island in the back ground and Cheabegue in the far distance. There is a strong current that flows between Sturdivant and the Cumberland shore yet it still froze solid. I suspect by Monday or Tuesday you will nearly be able to walk to Sturdivant island. Supposed to be -11F tonight....

Oh and this is my 14' center console sitting on her trailer with our 9' AB RIB inflated and upside down stored on top of her.... Between the bow of the boat (mound of snow) and the outdoor shower is the top of the door frame to our laundry room...... 18" - 24" predicted for tomorrow into Sunday.....(nl)
