Where teak meets fiberglass...

I have a bead of something there now, but that bead is old, dried out and cracked.

I don't have any leaks, and this is not structural. This is more of a bedding issue and caulking thing.

What's the best thing to use? Life Caulk? I do want it to be workable, and paintable, at least somewhat. Actually I can do without the workable, as long as I can paint it or the color is close to that of the white fiber glass. This IS for outdoor use.

If this were a house I would probably use DAP ALEX outdoor caulk, and paint it. But I have heard teak can pose problems.
