That's great news for them. They launched this design a year or so ago in an attempt to re-gain some of their lost heritage in the sailboat industry. I wondered if this new design would go into the vast universe of plans, that never got built.

And the fact that they have two DS 42's under construction as well, is a really good sign for the sailboat industry,...what's left of it. Hinckley is still primarily a power boat builder. Time will tell how if this new boat has broader appeal in the 50' 2-3mil(?) new boat buyer?
