slush waves in Nantucket
Pretty impressive. Long Island Sound is also frozen 1-2 miles out from shore in large areas.

My Dad once told me that many years ago...
The ice road across the Lake of Two Mountains here in Montreal had no problem opening this year.
I've never seen the ocean do that!
