tells me that they're limited. I played with a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 for a couple of weeks, was sorely disappointed, and took it back.
Email & browsing the web - fine.
The dummies book told me to get an app to read the QR codes, did so, didn't work. Tablet wouldn't focus that close.
WiFi connection to router fine for internet. Tried to connect to the home network - no luck (and I tried several different apps).
Printing from the tablet? Well, perhaps if the phase of the moon is right.
Anyway, I gave up. YMMV.
It seems my needs require a real computer. My present laptop works fine, but it's XP technology, 12 years old, looking at end of life, and close to being in an urn on my mantel. I though a tablet might be my new portable, but apparently not so. Both desktops are now Win 7, so that looks tempting for the new laptop. But perhaps I should go Win 8 - perhaps with a touch screen??? Still, I love the light weight and high screen resolution of the tablet...
