I think it's the enlarged resolution that is so startling. The images and video - even on websites - are eye opening.

Having a tough time moving a large iPhoto library(36GB). A few smaller libraries, no problem. I've tried several fixes, externals, blue tooth, etc. I'll get it or find a kid that can do it. You never stop learning with this stuff, in fact learning accelerates over time.

I'm very excited by Lightroom! Firstly for a better way to organize files. I've only had it loaded for a few hours but I'm impressed with the software. I used to work on an older Photoshop program but didn't keep it up. I don't think I need the photoshop tools so much as the better developing tools in lightroom.

I have a weekend class in April that hopefully will accelerate acquiring the tools. I'm tempted by an intro to digital printing right after, but it's scheduled for the weekend before I have to launch. Hmmm, not a good idea.
