Some I got at a big home store will last weeks or more in the Az. sun and heat. Some I got at Harbor Freight will not last 2 days before I can't get it off!!

When I was painting aircraft MANY years ago, I would use a layer of (blue type) tape very close to where I wanted the paint to stop. I would then use an edging tape for the sharp cut off line. BUT, I had to remove the sharp edge tape before the paint/varnish set up hard. The re-tape. It always takes me longer to tape then paint....
