Prop pitting question

I'm hoping for a few words of advice or encouragement regarding the prop blades in the photo below. It's a three-blade folding Volvo Penta prop. These are two blades from a set of three 19x16 blades (the third is in similar condition) which I replaced two years ago and carried as spares. They were replaced with a set of new blades that are 18x16 which are still in good condition, but cruising speed is about 1/2 knot slower and I'd like to go back to the larger size. (I can hit max revs no-problem with the larger prop.)

As you can see these blades aren't in great condition. They worked just fine until the day I took them off the boat, but there are small pocks and pits all over. I spoke with a prop builder who said these couldn't be repaired properly. He said he can fill pits caused by cavitation but not if caused by electrolysis.

I don't feel like spending another ~$1500 for new blades, so my question is whether to use these another season as-is. And if I do, I'm wondering if fairing them with epoxy is worth the trouble (or if it would adhere for the 7 or so months until Fall haul-out). Plan B is to stay with the newer (smaller) blades. Both blade sets work, even if not ideal.

Thoughts?
