It will make a proper application much harder later.
Practical Sailor did a piece on these. Propspeed is the best rated (and unfortunately the most expensive). I have it on our boat. It's pretty good for two years in the Cheasapeake and up and down the NE coast in the summers.
You need to prep it exactly like the suggest and treat it with respect. But it works.
Use that ZRC spray for fence posts an occasional anchor gear piece. It's not for a prop or other application, in my opinion. If it was -- EVERYONE would use it.
