Pre-911 Bringing home my first trimaran from NJ, picture taken while sailing northbound from the Verrazano. Ruins and trees in the right-middle are Governors Island (pre-redevelopment). Buttermilk Channel is off to the far right starting just beyond the edge of the picture.

BTW anyone who hasn't been to Governors Island recently -- it's worth a visit in nice weather. It's a beautiful park.
