Marine carpenter.

Some guy qualifying as a marine carpenter so he could make the 'big bucks'.
Back in my days at Electric Boat, we used to joke that the qualification test for 1st Class Machinist (dealt with them a lot) was to get the cap back on the 4 Roses without cross-threading it.
