When I set our jib halyard up tight, with low gear on our Andersen 52 winch, the furler is very hard to turn. (47 ft boat. Furler is Facnor LX290)

If I ease the halyard, the sail sets OK (not necessarily by hot racer standards) but it means that there is a load point on the luff where it exits the groove in the foil. This has caused some luff damage
